Welcome to Class 3

In Class 3 there are 15 year 4 children and 15 year 3 children. Mrs Kirton is our class teacher and Mrs Wright works with us on a Tuesday and a Thursday. 

Class 3 enjoy working with Mr Horsman in science.

We do a lot of science experiments with Mr Horsman.

Class 3 had a 10 week dance programme with Miss Anna.

We performed our dance at Malton Secondary school.

St Mary’s school is part of a cluster of small schools. The parents all came to the performance.

We built air raid shelters with lego during our WW2 topic.

The children enjoy making models to go with our history topics.

During the snowy weather we get to play out and then have hot chocolate to warm us up!

We love taking part in after school sports activities. We all get the chance to play throughout the year

We enjoy our art lessons!

In RE we can use God Story to help us understand about how God works in our lives.

We have people helping to hear readers. We are very lucky and have two parents, who come in to class on a regular basis, to hear us read our reading books. 

We can discuss things with our Talk Partners. This always helps us when we need to share our ideas.
