Eagle House Orphanage
Our School Council have chosen The Pearl of Africa, Eagle House Orphanage their chosen charity this year. Our year of fundraising for this very worthy cause ended with a sponsored danceathon.
So far this year the school Council have raised £670 for Eagle House Orphanage.

CAFOD
As part of Lent on Friday 15th March we held a Bring and Buy sale to raise money for Family Fast Day. Children bought in books and toys to sell and we raised £128.00 which we have donated to CAFOD.
World Youth Day 2019
In January we celebrated world youth day. It is an event that is held every 2-3 years where young people can meet up with other people from across the world to share and celebrate their faith. It gives them the opportunity to be closer to Christ through mass and prayer. This year’s world youth day was in Panama, South America. Each class produced art work that showed symbols and images to reflect the theme of the host country. We designed our own posters and logos and created some Mola art.
During Lent we decided our commitment to our Global Community would be to raise money to support the people of Ukraine. Our pupils, as leaders, planned and facilitated all of the fundraising events in school. Here is an example of some of the fantastic events planned.
