Our School Uniform

St. Mary’s RC Primary School  wear their uniform with pride. Our uniform shows that we are part of the St. Mary’s RC Primary School community. We have the highest expectations from our students with regards to school uniform and appearance, and strongly believe that our high standards promote positive behaviour, support effective teaching and learning and contribute to the ethos of the school.

School Uniform

We have school uniform and we encourage all our children to wear their uniform smartly. All items of uniform must be labelled. It consists of the following:

•  royal blue/sky blue/white polo shirt or shirt
•  royal blue jumper/cardigan
•  charcoal/grey/black trousers (shorts may be worn in warmer weather)
•  Charcoal/grey/black skirt or dress (blue & white checked dress for warmer weather)
•  grey/white socks
•  sensible black leather school shoes, NOT boots, shoes with heels or trainers

PE KIT

Pupil should come to school in their PE kits on their PE days (class teachers will inform you of these). They need an appropriately labelled PE kit consisting of the following:

•  trainers
•  white socks
•  white T-shirt
•  black/blue shorts
•  black/blue tracksuit for outdoor games in cold weather

Pupils also need a bottle of water on their PE days.
